Welcome to the GFHoP Family!

What a joy it is to introduce you to our church! You'll discover that our passion is to provide a place where people just like you can have a life-changing experience with god. We are truly excited that you have made the commitment to follow Jesus Christ with us as we walk the faith journey together. Of course, most of us have stumbled through our faith journey more than we've talked about it. A lot of us at Greater Faith have found our way back to following Christ after taking some wrong turns. So, please understand that we are neither a perfect church nor perfect people. We're just us. Incredibly gifted, diverse, real, and a bit rough around the edges at times. But we've learned that GFHoP isn't about us, it is about God!

At Greater Faith House of Prayer, our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. We are a life-giving, multicultural church and our goal is to infuse life and God's love into people and families through engaging, powerful worship services that offer biblical truth in relevant and practical ways. Together, we're striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there's relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendship, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. In short, we'd like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time. There's no other explanation for what exists at the corner of 29th & Broadway (609 N. Broadway) than the mighty hand of God!

So, if you are just checking out the "church scene" and investigating the claims of Jesus Christ, thank you for allowing us to help you in your search. Or, if you are a committed Christ-follower who wants to sink the roots of your faith even deeper, you can find a home here at Greater Faith House of Prayer. We are a small church family, but we are a growing family. We are growing in numbers. More importantly, we are growing in the knowledge of how to live in unison with the Spirit of the Lord, for the glorification of the kingdom of our Awesome GOD!

WE believe that Greater Faith House of Prayer is a church that grooms our members to become ministers, evangelists, preachers, and teachers well versed in what "thus saith the Lord."

Our Mission, Vision and Beliefs

The Mission of GFHoP is to lift up the name of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world!

Our Vision is:

To preach and teach the Gospel message to God's people across the world.
To see souls saved, healed, delivered and set free from the power of Satan and to disciple those souls to be effective soul winners for the Lord.
To Coordinate, and facilitate a Substance Abuse Center (Jubilee Restoration Center).
To have a ministry equipped with a gymnasium, child care, recreation Center, Bible School (Jubilee Bible School), Food Pantry, & clothing.
To be on Television and Radio with a CD ministry.
To have a Senior Citizens Outreach Ministry.
